Pinocchio

This picture was taken in Venice, outside one of the many shops specialised in woodcraft. It takes great skill to have such a high level of detail in the craftwork, and here, you can see one of the shop's best creations - Pinocchio in its making. It is apt that this craftwork was found in Italy, as "The Adventures of Pinocchio" (Le Avventure di Pinocchio) was a story that originated from Italian author Carlo Collodi.
