Cactus

Even in the arid conditions near the ruins of Tula, one can spot the various cacti that boast of their unique shapes. This was one of those gigantic gems of the terrain, whereby everything about it is smooth and round when seen from afar, but rough and spiky when we take a closer peek. This was taken on January 8th 2007.
